Pretty Vacant
As the name suggests, Pretty Vacant was established in 2004 to explore the parallel between music and fashion by two former Camden Market traders.
The brand relocated to the calmer waters of Brighton where husband and wife team, Simon and Mhorag, focussed the handwriting of the brand from the 40's through to the 70's. Many of the silhouettes you see in the collections today are inspired by hours of hitting the pavements seeking out vintage garments from a variety of thrift stores. The garments are then brought back to the creative hub of their studio in Hove where they design and upcycle with the help of our in- house pattern cutter and garment tech to create unique and contemporary garments with the perfect fit. All prints on the garments have been lovingly created by themselves.
