Returns & Refunds
Should you need to return an item please read the following:
Keep all the labels attached. If for any reason you are not totally happy with anything, please ring us on (065) 7081744 or email us at info.designlodge@gmail.com and return the item to us within 10 days of receipt, unworn and with the labels still attached. Then, if we are happy with the condition of the returned item we will either exchange it, provided we have the item in stock, or we’ll refund you the amount you paid for the item. Please let us know which you prefer. Retuned items are posted at your own expense unless faulty or damaged.
Faulty or damaged items
If an item you bought with us is found to be faulty or damaged, and you are not to blame then please notify us as soon as possible. We will gladly either exchange the item, provided we have it in stock, or issue a refund.
You should get a free Certificate of Posting from your post office when return items to us to cover you in case your parcel is lost in transit. The postage cost for returning an item can only be refunded if the item is faulty or you received the wrong item. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Cancellation by you
Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven days of receipt of your goods. You do not need to give us any reason for cancelling your contract nor will you have to pay any penalty. However, you will need to notify us.
If you have received the goods before you cancel your contract then you must return them to our contact address – Design Lodge, Main St, Lahinch, Co Clare V95 AT25 – at your own cost. If you cancel your contract but the goods are in transit, they must remain unpacked and be returned to us in that condition at your own cost as soon as possible.
To complete your return, we require proof of purchase.
Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract, any sum debited from your credit card will be refunded within 30 days of your order PROVIDED THAT the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return the goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we will be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you.
Cancellation by us
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:
- a) we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;
- b) we do not deliver to your area; or
- c) one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.
If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Design Lodge, Main St, Lahinch, Co Clare V95 AT25.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item unless it is faulty and deemed so by us. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over €75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance as we won’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
